An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated October 10th 1908 featuring a main article on Hestercombe in Somerset (Part 1), The Seat of The Hon. Edward W. Berkeley Portman. Nine page write up with black and white photograph illustrations of the house exterior, gardens (originally designed by Gertrude Jekyll) and grounds. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Viscountess Crichton.
