An original antique lithograph print from Visitation of Seats by J. B. Burke, Published in 1852. This one being a view of Dunsland in Devon. Lithographed by W.Gauci and published by Stannard & Dixon. Illustration size approx 10 x 17cm. Titled. Good condition. Rare.
Dunsland was owned by the architect, Philip Tilden who spent many years restoring it until his death in 1954. It then became the property of The National Trust who continued to invest in restoring the house, but sadly in 1967 Dunsland was gutted by fire and with what remained unsafe it was then completely demolished.
