Appleton Manor, Appleton, the Home of Mrs Lawrence Timpson
Country Life magazine dated May 11th 1929 featuring a main article on Appleton Manor at Appleton in Berkshire at the time of publication (now considered to be in the County of Oxfordshire). The Manor was built in the 12th Century and enlarged in 1927 by the Architects Mr Blow and Mr Billiary, an eight page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the house interior, exterior, furnishings, garden and plans. This original issue is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Frank from a painting by W. G. De Glehn, A.R.A.
