Lavington Park, The Seat of Lord Woolavington.
An original very early issue of Country Life magazine dated July 25th 1925 featuring a main article on Lavington Park in Sussex, The Seat of Lord Woolavington, built in 1790-94 by James Lewis and enlarged and altered by the Detmar Blow in 1903. This issue contains a six page write up with black and white illustrations of the house, exterior, grounds, new stables by Detmar Blow, the interior and a plan showing additions by Detmar Blow in 1903 and Mr Owen Little in 1912. In addition, the magazine also features a five page illustrated article on the horses and pictures at Lavington Park. This issue is in very good condition with a lovely portrait frontispiece of Lord Woolavington.
