Original issue of Country Life magazine dated January 2nd 1948 featuring a main article on Merryfields House in Witney, Oxfordshire.  The residence of Mr Sidney Smith.  Designed by Oliver Hill.  A four page write up with black and white illustrations of the house interior, exterior and gardens. The magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Lady Mary Lumley.
