A rare complete issue of Country Life magazine with full covers and adverts being 'The Spring and Motor Number' dated March 14th 1936 with special garden colour supplement on the gardens at Port Lympne, Hythe in Kent, the residence of Sir Philip Sassoon, Bt. Contains a seven page write up including black and white and colour photograph illustrations of the house exterior, gardens terrace borders, bathing pool, the chequer-board garden, the great stairway and more. This issue also contains a two page illustrated article on Torilla, Nast Hyde, a modern house in Hertfordshire designed by the architect F. R. S. Yorke. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of Miss Helen Trefusis.
