Lithographs
Lithography was invented in Germany by Johann Senefelder in 1796. We stock a rare collection of fine antique lithograph prints illustrating views of country houses, castles, mansions and architecturally important buildings lithographed by artists such as, Charles Greenwood, William Gauci, Augustus Butler and Day & Haghe (William Day & Louis Haghe) who were appointed Lithographers to the Queen in 1838.
