Original rare war-time issue of Country Life magazine for December 21st 1940 featuring a main article on Holcombe House in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, The home of the Dowager Countess of Plymouth. The house was added to and restored for the present owner by Detmar Blow in 1925. This issue contains a five page write up including black and white photograph illustrations of the house exterior, grounds, interior and decor. This magazine is in very good condition with a portrait frontispiece of The RT. Hon. Winston Churchill, P.C., C.H.
